Trinity Grammar School, a leading independent Anglican day and boarding school for boys, is based at Summer Hill in Sydney’s thriving Inner West.

Our mission is to help boys discover their innate talents and unlock their full potential within the context of a supportive Christian environment. We have guided boys to grow in mind, body and spirit for over a century and we know what boys need to truly flourish and succeed.

A wide-ranging curriculum caters for all students, and is arguably one of the most extensive of non-selective independent boys schools across NSW. Boys have access to demanding and challenging courses that promise real academic accomplishment, achievable through hard work and good teaching, whether it be through the IB, HSC or vocational education.

This breadth of choice along with Trinity’s varied and engaging teaching methods incorporates authenticity and real-world learning.

Trinity has forged a reputation for academic excellence and delivers one of the widest range of IB Diploma subject choices in NSW, with dedicated classes and experienced IB teachers.

In 2016, 11 students received an ATAR greater than 99, which is equal to the top one percent of the State:

  • Three perfect IB scores of 45, equivalent to an ATAR maximum of 99.95
  • In addition 14 IB scores of 4o-44 equivalent to an ATAR of 98.3 to 99.85
  • 43% attained an ATAR at or above 90
  • 53% achieved an ATAR at or above 85
  • 65% accomplished an ATAR at or above 80.

Trinity offers unparalleled music and creative arts programmes housed in state-of-the-art facilities, and an extensive range of co-curricular and world-leading sporting activities. Trinity was the first school in Australasia to be accredited as a World Academy of Sport Athlete Friendly Education Centre, and is one of only nine schools globally to achieve this distinction.

Trinity’s Pastoral Care guidelines focus on the fundamentals of good parenting — providing both care and discipline — enabling boys to grow into self-confident, resilient young men. Combined with ongoing partnership between the School and home, boys thrive in a consistent, caring and nurturing environment.

We aim to provide each boy the opportunity to reach his full potential, empowering him to pursue his interests and passions, and encouraging him to discover and develop his God-given talents and skills, to grow into the best man he can be.
